Digital Deepak Internship Program- The effective AXE!
I remember one story from my childhood. It goes like this:
“Once upon a time, a woodcutter asked for a job at a timber merchant. His boss takes an interview and offer him a job with good pay. The woodcutter agrees to join him and from the very next day, he started working there.
On the first day, his boss gives him an axe and shows him the area where he would work. That day, the woodcutter cuts 18 trees. His boss was very happy.
The next day, he works even harder but he could manage to bring down only 15 trees. On the third day, he tries even harder, but he could only manage 10 trees. Day after day, he finished with fewer trees.
He was surprised and started thinking that, “I must be losing my strength”. He went to the boss and apologized, saying that he could not understand what was going on.
“When was the last time you sharpened your axe?” the boss asked.
“Sharpen? I’ve had no time to sharpen my axe. I have been so busy trying to cut trees….”
His boss asks him to sharpen the axe and then go for a job. On that day he manages to cut 20 trees.
In our life, we are so involved in our daily routine that we always forget to sharpen our axe and blame the situation for not getting the desired results.
It happened to me too. I was so busy in my marketing job; that I became ignorant of the new trends, advancement especially in Digital Marketing. My axe was getting dull and I was sort of losing hopes in my future career in marketing.
I wanted to ride on the wave but was sure; which force is the right one for me. I started looking at some content on digital marketing and got to know about the “Digital Deepak Internship Program” (DDIP).
I started following Digital Deepak and was very impressed with this overall approach towards the subject. Still, I was not able to decide whether to go for DDIP or not.
One day, when I was attending his webinar on DDIP and I came to know that I can do this course literally for free by completing the assignments.
And I thought of giving a chance for it.
I took the challenge and paid the fees.
Since the day the DDIP has started, my approach towards digital marketing, my career and my life has changed drastically.
From the very first assignment to the last one I obtained a tremendous amount of knowledge. The assignments made me work hard and I had spent many long days and nights completing the assignments. While doing this, I was also doing my job and taking care of my family in a pandemic situation.
But in the end, it was all worth it and now my axe shine with confidence and knowledge.
What I have done so far with DDIP can be seen on my website or a blog page: https://digi-pub.co.in/
Abraham Lincoln said, “Give me six hours to chop down a tree and I will spend the first four sharpening the axe.”
Put time on your calendar to sharpen your axe. As a leader, you will be glad you stayed so sharp.
To sharpen your axe you may follow the same path that I took; go and visit: https://dm.digitaldeepak.com/apply/ or https://digitaldeepak.com/ to get yourself enrolled in the next batch of DDIP.
